Tu-134 military transport plane burned at Russian airfield: DIU shows video

A Tu-134 transport aircraft was destroyed at the Orenburg-2 military airfield in the Russian Federation. This was reported by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
“We burned the enemy carcass – a Tu-134 military transport aircraft was destroyed in Russia. On the night of 12-13 October 2024, a Tu-134 aircraft belonging to the 117th Military Transport Aviation Regiment of the armed forces of the aggressor state burned down in Russia,” the statement reads.
The DIU also noted that this is a Soviet-made aircraft, often used to transport high-ranking officials from the Russian Ministry of Defence.
“The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine reminds that every crime against the Ukrainian people will be duly punished,” the agency added.
