In Russia, Kursk, Yeysk and a military airfield in the Rostov region were attacked by drones

On the night of 5 March, drones of unknown origin attacked the Morozovsk military airfield in Rostov region, Komersant ukrainskyi
citing local Telegram channels and the regional governor.
Air defences were very active over the airfield, where Su-24 and Su-34 aircraft are deployed, as eyewitnesses counted more than 60 explosions in the sky. The Shot Telegram channel reported the downing of more than 40 aerial objects.
It is not yet known whether the drones hit the airfield itself. At the same time, at the very beginning of one of the videos, a bright flash is seen close to the ground or directly on the ground. The Russians report only damage to the power plant, which left dozens of homes without electricity.
Russians also report a drone attack on Kursk. At night, several buildings and the central market were on fire in the city.
More than 10 more explosions were heard over Yeysk in the Kuban, and air defence systems were activated. Local authorities reported a “terrorist attack”. The damage is not yet known.
