According to the source, on August 2, the Central Asia-Center gas pipeline broke down in the Volgograd region. It is a gas pipeline system owned by Gazprom that transports natural gas from Turkmenistan through Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan to Russia.
It is known that after reports of explosions, Russian emergency services were dispatched to the pipeline. According to local residents, law enforcement agencies and repair crews are located near the village of Dynamovskoye in the Nekhaevsky district of Volgograd region to eliminate the consequences of the explosion.
It is worth noting that this pipeline supplies energy to such Russian military-industrial complex facilities as the Demikhiv Machine-Building Plant, the Russian Aircraft Corporation MIG (Production Complex No. 1), the Magnum-K ammunition plant, and others.
Representatives of the Russian gas transportation company, which supplies the Russian army, are currently calculating the losses. It is reported that gas transportation through the Central Asia-Center gas pipeline in Volgograd region has been suspended for an indefinite period.
