Head of company supplying materials to Shaheda shoots himself in Russia – media

On Friday, September 19, Alexander Tyunin, CEO of Umatex Group, was found dead in the Moscow region. His company supplied materials for the production of Shahed drones.
This was reported by Russian Telegram channels, including Astra, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
The body of the CEO of the Russian company, Alexander Tyunin, was found on the roadside in a village near Moscow. A gun and a note were also found next to the man.
“I did it myself, I’m tired of fighting depression for five years, it’s getting worse, I have no strength,“ the note reads.
The media noted that this is the 35th mysterious death of Russian top officials and managers since 2022. And the most common cause of such deaths is “suicide.”
In particular, the former governor of the Kursk region of Russia, Roman Starovoit, shot himself in his own car. As you know, he was accused of failing to defend himself during the Ukrainian offensive.
