Power outages in six regions of Ukraine: how the power outage schedules will work

On the night of December 6, the enemy launched a massive missile and drone attack on electricity generation, distribution and transmission facilities in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Lviv, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Mykolaiv and Kharkiv regions. As a result of the attack in the morning, consumers in Odesa, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro and Mykolaiv regions are without power.
This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
“Emergency repair work is already underway where the security situation allows it. Power engineers are doing everything possible to restore power to all subscribers as soon as possible,” the statement said.
Hourly outage schedules are currently being applied in all regions of Ukraine. Also, power limitation schedules for industrial consumers and businesses continue to be in effect in all regions of Ukraine .
“Current schedules are posted on the official resources of regional distribution system operators. You can find out about changes in power supply on the pages of regional power distribution companies in your region,” the agency summarized.
Shelling of Ukraine on December 6
On the night of December 6, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine, using drones, ballistic missiles, and Kinzhal missiles.
Explosions were heard in Kyiv during the attack. Local authorities report that air defense systems are in operation, and the Air Force has recorded flights of Kinzhal and ballistic missiles in the direction of the capital.
In particular, Fastiv was affected: the railway infrastructure came under fire, which led to changes in the routes of passenger trains. According to Ukrzaliznytsia, arrivals were also recorded at the city’s train station. There are also reports of severe fires in Novi Petrivtsi near Kyiv.
