Fire at oil depot in Sochi after drone attack

A fuel tank in the Adler district of Sochi is on fire after being hit by the wreckage of a Ukrainian drone. This was reported by the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Veniamin Kondratiev. According to him, 127 people are extinguishing the fire using 35 pieces of equipment.

Sochi Mayor Andrey Proshunin confirmed this information, adding that the wreckage of the UAV “again hit buildings” in a garage cooperative on Aviatsionnaya Street. According to the mayor’s preliminary information, there were no injuries. “Don’t shoot or post videos of the liquidation!” Proshunin urged Sochi residents.
Sochi Airport temporarily stopped accepting and departing aircraft, but these restrictions were later lifted.
