In Sofiyivska Borshchahivka, a man shoots a soldier and his mother-in-law

A man shot two people in Sofiyivska Borshchahivka, Kyiv region. According to investigators, the conflict arose over payment for a purchase.
This was reported by the police of the Kyiv region, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
The police received a report of the shooting at 15:22. All emergency services are working at the scene and a special operation is underway to detain the attacker.
The National Police reported the arrest of the attacker. According to the investigation, a 63-year-old man shot a soldier and his relative.
A month ago, the soldier sold the weapon to the man for $1,000. However, on May 8, they had a conflict over payment: the soldier demanded that the buyer pay him a certain amount more.
As a result, the man shot the soldier and his mother-in-law, who was at home, with the purchased weapon. After that, the attacker entered his own home and locked himself inside.
Police special forces surrounded the house and detained the 63-year-old man within an hour.
Law enforcement officers also told us that they learned about the cause of the conflict – an incident involving the sale of weapons – from the attacker himself.
The investigation is still ongoing. The issue of serving a notice of suspicion to the detainee is being resolved.
