In the US state of Mississippi, a 24-year-old man shot and killed six people in three different areas near the city of West Point.

This was reported by The New York Post (NYP) with reference to local police, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

According to the publication, the suspect, Darica Moore, first killed his father, brother, and uncle, then fled. He then shot a seven-year-old girl and went to another location, where he killed two more men. Law enforcement officers detained Moore, who could face the death penalty.

On January 8, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer shot and killed a woman who was sitting behind the wheel of a car in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Surveillance camera footage shows ICE officers approaching an SUV that had stopped in the middle of the road. The officer then demanded that the door be opened and grabbed the handle. When the car began to move forward, the ICE officer standing in front of the car drew his weapon and fired at least twice at the woman behind the wheel.
