Traffic on the South Bridge is restricted in the capital during alarms

During the air alert, Kyiv will restrict traffic on the South Bridge from the right to the left bank. This will apply to both private cars and public transport.
This was reported by the Kyiv City Administration, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
It is noted that this decision was made by the Kyiv City Defense Council.
Changes in public transportation
In this regard, in the event that the patrol police introduces a temporary ban on traffic on the South Bridge from the right bank of the Dnipro to the left, buses No. 22 and No. 91 will run according to changed schemes.
Transport will run according to two algorithms, depending on the location of the rolling stock at the time of the air alert. At the same time, the routes of buses running from the left to the right bank remain unchanged regardless of the air alert.
During the air alert, buses #22 and #91 will run on temporary routes under the numbers #22-D, 22-T and #91-D, 91-T.
If the buses are in front of the entrance to Saperno-Slobidska Street at the time of the traffic ban, they will run as follows:
- no. 22-T “Trostyanetska St. – Medova St.”: Trostyanetska St. – Architect Verbytskyi St. – Bratstva Tarasivtsiv St. – Mykola Bazhan Ave. Valeriy Lobanovsky – Sevastopolska Square – Svyatoslav Khorobyi Street – Medova Street – Svyatoslav Khorobyi Street – Sevastopolska Square – Valeriy Lobanovsky Avenue – Demiivska Square – Holosiivskyi Avenue – Mykola Mikhnovskoho Boulevard. Mykola Mykhnovskoho St. – Naddnipryanske Shosse – Darnytskyi Bridge – Dniprovska Embankment – Mykola Bazhana Ave;
- no. 91-D “Anna Akhmatova St. – Holosiivska metro station”: Anna Akhmatova St. – Revutskoho St. – Mykola Bazhana Ave. – Pivdennyi Bridge – Saperno-Slobidska St. – Nauky Ave. – Demiivska Square – Holosiivskyi Avenue – Holosiivska metro station – Holosiivskyi Avenue – Nauky Ave. – Saperno-Slobidska St. – Mykhailo Boichuk St. – Bastionna St. – Bolsunovska St. – Mykola Mikhnovskoho Blvd. Mykola Mikhnovskoho Street – Naddnipryanske Highway – Darnytskyi Bridge – Dniprovska Embankment – Mykola Bazhana Avenue – Petra Hryhorenko Avenue – Drahomanova Street – Anna Akhmatova Street.
If the traffic ban is imposed while the buses are on Saperno-Slobidska Street (on the section from Nauky Avenue to Saperno-Slobidska Street), buses will run according to the following routes

Passengers are asked to pay attention to the bus route number. It determines the direction and algorithm of further bus movement.
About traffic on the South Bridge
As a reminder, private car traffic on the South Bridge has been closed in Kyiv since June 22, 2022. It was only allowed for special vehicles of emergency services, public transport, transit freight transport, and cars with special permits.
