An earthquake struck Turkey

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 occurred in the western part of Turkey. This was reported by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located 77 km northwest of the city of Uşak. The center was located at a depth of 8 km.
No casualties or damage were reported.
In August, an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 was recorded in western Turkey. The duration of the tremors was about 20-30 seconds. Chandeliers and furniture swayed in apartments. Some locals ran outside. Smartphone apps warned of the tremors just a few seconds before they started.
Turkish Interior Minister Ali Erlikaya said that 29 people were injured in the province of Balikesir as a result of the earthquake. Syndyrga Mayor Serkan Sak said that at least 10 buildings were destroyed in the town.
