Kryvyi Rih: Russian attack destroys tax service building

On the night of December 18, Russian troops attacked Kryvyi Rih. The building of the State Tax Service came under fire. No one was injured, but the building was critically damaged. What happened

On the night of December 18, Russian shelling hit the building of the tax service in Kryvyi Rih. This was reported by the acting head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine, Lesya Karnaukh.

According to her, there were no casualties among employees or civilians during the attack.

The extent of the damage

The head of the State Tax Service noted that the building was severely damaged:

  • “The interfloor ceilings were destroyed,
  • the facade was damaged,
  • windows were smashed.

The level of damage is assessed as critical.

How the tax service will work

The State Tax Service is already addressing the issue of organizing work in alternative premises to ensure the continuity of services and functions.

Local authorities and relevant services are assessing the technical condition of the building and determining the next steps – from the conservation of the damage to possible restoration. At the same time, the consequences of the attack are being recorded to document the war crimes of the Russian Federation.
