Strike on Slavic TPP: details emerge

Two power engineers were killed as a result of today’s enemy attack on Sloviansk thermal power plant. Five other employees of the plant were injured. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported on a Russian bombing attack on the Slaviansk TPP during his evening video address.
“Now, a few hours ago, there was a strike on the Slavic TPP – a strike of Russian bombs. Unfortunately, two people were killed. My condolences. There are wounded. And this is pure terror. Normal people do not fight like this, and there should be a proper reaction of the world to such a Russian war,” the head of state said.
“A few hours ago, Russian terrorists attacked the territory of Sloviansk thermal power plant with a guided aerial bomb. As a result of the insidious attack, the lives of our colleagues Serhiy Dyachenko and Mykhailo Hryhoryev were cut short. Five other employees of the plant were injured,” the Ministry of Energy said in a statement.
The strike damaged the equipment of the engineering and laboratory building.
“Russia continues its deliberate terror against the population and infrastructure, cynically hitting those who bring light,” the Energy Ministry said.
