Russian strike on Odesa: at least 14 apartments damaged, children among the victims

On the night of 23 April, Russia launched another attack on Odesa. As a result of the enemy air strike, houses were damaged and a fire broke out in the residential sector. This was announced by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, Komersant ukrainskyi https://www.komersant.info/ reports.

According to Odesa City Hall, at least 14 apartments were damaged.

Emergency services are working to eliminate the consequences. Thirty-four people have been rescued, including 3 children.

As a result of a nighttime Russian drone attack on Odesa, 9 people were injured, 4 of them children aged 12 and 9 and two babies under the age of one. Three adults were hospitalised in the city’s medical institutions in moderate condition, while two others refused to be hospitalised, having received all the necessary assistance on the spot.

Four children are also in moderate condition in hospital. Doctors are providing all the necessary assistance to the victims.

The Odesa City Hall added that the Peresypsky District Administration is deploying an operational headquarters to resettle and assist the affected Odessans.
