Ukraine – Belgium: how our team can get out of the group

Today, on 26 June, at 19:00 Kyiv time, the national team of Ukraine will meet the national team of Belgium in the final group match of Euro 2024. The match will take place at the Stuttgart Arena. The main referee is Anthony Taylor (England).

We can also count on a lucky coincidence of results in Group F, where the Czech Republic will play Turkey and Georgia will play Portugal.
Thus, if the Czech Republic and Georgia lose, Ukraine will be among the top four third-placed teams.
And there is Group A, in which Hungary, in third place, also has 3 points and a negative goal difference of -3.
Ukraine, in case of a loss to Belgium, will have at least -3 goals – if it loses to Belgium with a difference of only one goal. In that case, it will have to compete with Hungary for the championship based on additional indicators. A loss to Belgium by two or more goals does not allow us to hope for this.
In short, Ukraine has chances, and they are even good. The good news is that everything is in the hands and feet of our players. We just need to beat Belgium, the third team in the world rankings (Ukraine is 24th).
