Ukraine is preparing for a new stage of negotiations with the US: what is known

At the end of the week, Ukraine and the United States will hold another round of talks to agree on proposals for peace and security guarantees developed after the meetings in Geneva. This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his evening address, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
The President emphasized that it is equally important for Ukraine to keep the defense at the front, strengthen its diplomatic position and work with its allies on the future security architecture.
“Our team, together with the American representatives, will continue to bring the points that we have as a result of Geneva to a form that will lead to peace and security guarantees this week – at the end of the week. There will be a meeting of delegations,” Zelenskyy said.
Delegations are preparing for substantive work
The Head of State assured that the Ukrainian team was coming to the talks as prepared as possible and with clear positions.
“We are still in touch with the American side and our European friends. I am also informing our partners in other parts of the world, and I thank them for supporting our sovereignty and our state,” Zelenskyy emphasized.
The new round of talks may be the next step in shaping future security guarantees for Ukraine. The outcome of the talks may influence further diplomatic initiatives and directions of international support.
