1 December 23:21
Ukraine’s Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal has signed an agreement with Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans to start joint production of drones. This was announced by Denys Shmyhal, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
“The document opens the way to the joint production of Ukrainian unmanned systems both in Ukraine and in the Netherlands,” the head of the Ukrainian defense ministry emphasizes.
According to Shmyhal, production will be divided between Ukraine and the Netherlands. The drones will be purchased by the Dutch side and transferred to the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
“We continue to scale up the production of the best models of Ukrainian weapons in cooperation with our partners,” the Defense Minister added.
In addition, the Netherlands announced the allocation of 250 million euros for the PURL initiative.
“I am grateful to the Netherlands and Defense Minister Brekelmans for their continued support,” Shmyhal thanked.

As a reminder, Ukraine, together with the United States, has begun producing interceptor drones.
Earlier, Zelensky said that by the end of November, Ukraine would produce 600-800 interceptor drones per day. However, these plans may be hampered by Russian shelling. At the same time, the president emphasized that this is a “complicated story.”
Earlier, Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal promised to reach the level of 1,000 interceptor drones per day soon. He said that this is Ukraine’s response to the nighttime attacks by Russian invaders.
It is worth noting that Ukraine already has interceptor drones that can counter Russian jet-powered Shaheds.
In addition, in the fall it became known that Britain would sign an agreement with Ukraine on the joint development and production of advanced military equipment. It provides for the exchange of technologies that will strengthen the national security of both countries.
Ukraine is currently working on countering Russian guided aerial bombs. To this end, several companies are working on special interceptor drones. In addition, Ukrainian engineers have created cheap interceptor drones that have already shot down hundreds of Russian Shaheds.
