Ukraine receives lists of missing servicemen through Qatar

Accelerating the process of exchanging prisoners of war was one of the topics of discussion during a meeting in Qatar between Dmytro Lubinets, the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, and Her Excellency Lolwa Rashid Al Khater, Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar. Dmytro Lubinets himself wrote about this in his Telegram, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.

“Thanks to the efforts of our main intermediary, I managed to get lists of missing servicemen through Qatar, as well as letters from Ukrainian prisoners of war to their relatives, and discussed the possibility of speeding up the process of exchanging prisoners of war,” the Ukrainian Ombudsman said following the conversation.

In addition, according to Dmytro Lubinets, agreements were reached to provide assistance to civilians in difficult life situations, including assistance in restoring personal documents.

The Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights thanked the State of Qatar for its mediation efforts in resolving humanitarian issues.
