Ukraine offers partners to test weapons on the battlefield

Ukraine has offered international partners the opportunity to test their products in real combat conditions, as well as long-term partnerships, Deputy Defense Minister Valeriy Churkin said during a speech at the Estonian-Ukrainian Defense Industry Forum held in Kyiv, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
The forum was attended by Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur, Ukrainian Minister of Strategic Industries Herman Smetanin, Director of the Defense Procurement Agency Arsen Zhumadilov, as well as industry representatives from both countries, government officials and experts.
“Estonia is a true friend of our country, and we need to increase industrial cooperation. Among the opportunities offered by Ukraine to international partners are testing of products in real combat conditions and development of long-term partnerships within joint ventures,” he said.
The official thanked Estonia for its systematic support and noted that the Defense Forces currently need anti-missile solutions and modernization of weapons already operating on the battlefield.
For his part, Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur expressed hope that the forum would help create new opportunities in defense production and technology exchange.
“Estonia is ready to share its experience in the field of IT and digital transformation,” Pevkur said.
