This morning, Ukraine’s power grid again experienced a surplus of electricity, so Ukraine transferred excess volumes to Poland. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

Yesterday, 5 May, the volume of electricity consumed was 10% lower than on Saturday and 12% lower than on Friday. That is, the needs of consumers were covered by own generation and commercial imports, so no emergency assistance was called for,

Due to grid constraints on the operator’s lines, outage schedules were applied yesterday in Kharkiv region and for industry in Kryvyi Rih. Restrictions in these regions are still in place today. In other regions, electricity was not cut off.

Last night, a high-voltage overhead line was damaged in Dnipropetrovska oblast, and equipment at power facilities connected to it was disconnected. Restoration works are underway.

The situation at the occupied ZNPP is within normal limits. The water level in the cooling pond has slightly decreased to 15.39 metres. This is enough to meet the needs of the plant.

Tonight, Ukraine plans to import 5362 MWh of electricity.
