Army Commander Oleksandr Pavliuk said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will soon stabilise the front line and begin preparing for counter-offensive actions to seize the initiative.

According to Pavlyuk, Russian terrorists are currently doing everything they can to occupy the territories as much as possible before the presidential election in Russia. According to the intercepted conversations, the enemy is sending even those who came to the front a week or two ago without training to carry out the assaults.
“Everything is being done to seize the initiative. Our task is to stabilise the front line, destroy the enemy as much as possible, regroup as much as possible to withdraw units that need to be restored, create a strike group and conduct counterattacks this year. We are succeeding in this. The situation is stabilising,” Pavliuk said.
According to the Land Forces commander, there are several hotspots left: Avdiivka area; Chasovyi Yar area; Terny area towards Lyman.
Heavy fighting is taking place in these areas every day, but our soldiers are holding out confidently, inflicting huge losses on the enemy.
On 4 March, Dmytro Lykhoviy reported that the advance of Russian troops in the Avdiivka sector had been stopped. At the same time, the Russians partially control the villages of Berdychi and Tonenke.
