Ukrainian Livach became European wrestling champion: video

Ukrainian athlete Oksana Livach won the final of the European Wrestling Championships in the 50 kg weight category. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to United world wrestling.
In the decisive fight, Livach defeated 5-time continental championship medalist Evin Demirhan from Turkey with a score of 8:0.
On the way to the final, in the semifinals, the Ukrainian managed to defeat the “neutral Russian” Nadezhda Sokolova with a score of 2:1. And before that, she left no chance for the Frenchwoman Emma Lutenhauer 7-0.
Thus, Livach became the European champion for the second time, the first time she won the continental title in 2019. In total, this was her fourth Euro final.
This is the second award for Ukraine at the tournament. The day before, Andrii Dzhelep won bronze in the 61 kg weight category.
The European Championships started on Monday, April 7. Over the course of the week, representatives of freestyle, Greco-Roman and women’s wrestling will compete for 30 medals in ten weight categories in each sport.
