Ukrainian feed corn is getting cheaper on foreign markets
9 October 12:11
Since the end of last week, the demand prices for feed corn continued to decline on the Ukrainian export market, but less actively.
This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to APK-Inform Agency.
Moderate demand of importers, covering the positions under the previously concluded agreements and expectations of increasing supply as the harvesting campaign progresses contributed to the decline in purchase prices. At the same time, some companies raised corn prices to attract more offers amid slower harvesting due to weather-related factors and, consequently, restrained sales by agricultural producers.
Thus, the demand prices for feed corn in the ports of large Odesa decreased by 1-2 USD/t and as of October 8, 2025 are in the range of 199-208 USD/t CPT-port. At the same time, in the Danube ports, the purchase prices decreased by an average of 2 USD/t and are fixed in the range of 197-206 USD/t CPT-port.
It should be noted that some buyers have taken a wait-and-see attitude, expecting further, more active price declines.
