Ukrainian drones strike again at strategic targets in Russia

On the night of June 6, Ukrainian drones conducted a large-scale operation in the Russian Federation, striking several key military and industrial facilities. The most significant was a strike on the city of Engels, Saratov region, where the Engels-2 air base with strategic bombers is located, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
In particular, Ukrainian drones successfully attacked the Rosreserve’s Kristal oil depot, which provides fuel to the Engels-2 military airfield. This airbase is home to Tu-95MS and Tu-160 strategic bombers, which are regularly used to attack Ukrainian cities. As a result of the attack, a fire broke out at an industrial facility.
This is the third successful attack by Ukrainian drones on this facility since the beginning of the year. on January 8, Ukrainian drones destroyed three tanks of 120,000 cubic meters each and damaged six more, resulting in the loss of about 800,000 tons of fuel. on January 14, a second attack took place when the fire from the previous strike had not yet been fully extinguished.
During the night operation, one of the Ukrainian drones also hit a residential complex on Telman Street in Engels. Residents were evacuated, but were allowed to return to their apartments by morning. A balcony on one of the upper floors of the building caught fire, but the Russians managed to avoid any casualties.

In addition to Engels, Ukrainian drones attacked an enterprise in Michurinsk, Tambov region. According to Russian reports, the attack targeted the Progress plant, which produces high-tech equipment for control systems for aircraft and missile technology. As a result of the attack, three workers were injured and two were hospitalized.
Explosions were also reported near the Bryansk airport, but details of the attack remain unknown.
The mayor of Moscow announced the destruction of 10 drones on the approach to the Russian capital.
