In 2025, Ukrainian businesses are not just maintaining a presence outside the country – they are actively expanding their sales and opening geography. After long periods of local presence, more and more companies from Ukraine are taking strategic steps into international markets: from South America to Europe and the UK, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
- Ukrainian ice cream in Brazil
“Lviv Kholodokombinat started exporting its Limo ice cream to Brazil in 2025. The company not only supplies products, but has also organized its own representative office there, with a local team and plans for further development.

The company shipped the first batches of frozen dessert to the South American country in October.
“220 million people, a huge market, favorable weather conditions. These factors are enough to enter the market,” explained Yuriy Kopytko, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the company
Yuriy Kopytko in a comment to LIGA.net.
Lvivsky Kholodokombinat PJSC has been operating since 1942 – initially, the company operated as a refrigeration complex for food storage. The plant started producing ice cream on an industrial scale in the 1960s. The owner of the company is a Lviv businessman Bohdan Kopytko, and his son Yuriy Kopytko performs management functions in the company.
- KIDDISVIT in Poland
The Ukrainian brand KIDDISVIT, which offers children’s toys, has entered the Polish market, where the company is actively expanding cooperation with local buyers and retailers.

KIDDISVIT says it already has its first customers, first shipments, and first purchases on the Polish market. In particular, the company’s own brand POP TOP is already on the shelves of local stores.
“I am grateful to the team in Poland for a strong start in a short time and to the team in Ukraine for supporting the new office and helping us to confidently expand our development horizons. This is just the beginning of our long journey,” said Pavlo Ovchynnikov, CEO of KIDDISVIT.
- “Veres and Skvyryanka on the shelves of Spanish Carrefour
The Ukrainian food brands Veres (canned food) and Skvyryanka (cereals) are already sold in the supermarkets of the large Spanish chain Carrefour in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and other cities.
The launch was announced by the Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Spain.
The project was implemented thanks to the cooperation of MadeinUkraine.es and the support of the Ukrainian diplomatic mission.
“Currently, Ukrainian products are already available in 21 Carrefour stores. The geographical coverage covers key regions of the country, including Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Zaragoza and Almeria, which provides access to Ukrainian goods for a wide range of consumers in the largest consumer centers of Spain.
The first products to appear on the shelves of the Spanish retailer were the well-known Ukrainian brands Veres (canned food) and Skvyryanka (cereals and groceries), which meet European quality standards and have a stable export potential. In the near future, we plan to expand the range of products and launch sales of other Ukrainian producers and brands,” the embassy said.
Another notable success of Ukrainian business is demonstrated by the children’s furniture manufacturer Woodandhearts, which has already presented its products on the shelves of the American Walmart chain.
“WoodandHearts products are available in 98 Walmart stores across the United States!
“Despite the challenges of 2022, we have resumed production, retained our team and
continue to create quality that is recognized worldwide. The American retail giant @walmart has supported the Ukrainian brand – and this is more than a partnership for us,” the company said.
- “Tastes of Ukraine in Prague
The traditional Chutě Ukrajiny (“Tastes of Ukraine”) store has opened in Prague, promoting Ukrainian products among Czechs and donating part of its profits to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The store is part of the project “Buy Ukrainian – Support the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” which was initiated by the Embassy of Ukraine in the Czech Republic together with the business owner Kristina Khytrachkova. A portion of the profits from each sale will be used for the needs of the 21st Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Thus, each purchase is not only a gastronomic pleasure, but also a contribution to strengthening Ukraine’s defense.
“Every krona donated will help strengthen the defense potential of our soldiers and bring Ukraine’s victory closer,” the Ukrainian embassy said in a statement.
The store’s assortment includes traditional Ukrainian products: cereals, canned food, sweets, drinks, meat products, and more. The products on the shelves are of high quality and diverse, and are shipped directly from Ukraine.
- “Aviatsiya Halychyny in London
After several years of preparation, in December 2025, the first foreign store of the Aviatsiya Halychyny clothing brand opened in central London.
The Aviatsiya Halychyny store in the British capital opened on December 14, 2025, as co-owner of the Holding of Emotions !FEST Yurii Nazaruk announced on social media.
“It’s a working, quiet opening to try and adjust everything, and the London address will modestly appear on our packages,” he said.
In 11 years of operation, the brand has launched three production facilities, its own printing house, and a network of 10 stores in Kyiv, Lviv, and recently in London.
The brand focuses on “Proudly made in Ukraine”, emphasizing the origin and cultural identity of its products.
- One by One in Poland – Ukrainian fashion goes retail
Another example of fashion expansion is the One by One brand, which opened its first Polish store in the Posnania shopping center in Poznan.
The initial investment amounted to more than $270 thousand, and on the first day, sales exceeded local market expectations, confirming that Ukrainian brands can find their niche among Western buyers.
