Ukrainian diplomats to remind the world that Russia’s aggression against Ukraine has lasted 1000 days

on November 18, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga will visit New York to take part in events at the UN headquarters to mark the 1000th anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
The Ukrainian Foreign Minister will speak at a special high-level meeting of the UN Security Council. This important event was convened at the initiative of Ukraine by the United Kingdom, which currently holds the presidency of the UN Security Council.
“The UN Security Council, chaired by David Lammy of the United Kingdom and attended by Andriy Sibiga, is preparing to discuss Ukraine’s security on the eve of 1000 days of Putin’s full-scale invasion,” Ukraine’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Sergiy Kyslytsya, wrote on social network X.
He said that the meeting would begin at 15:30 Eastern Time (22:30 Kyiv time).
During his visit to New York, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga will also hold bilateral meetings to strengthen support for Ukraine.
