14 top Ukrainian IT companies have implemented standards for the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the creation of innovative products. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
“Artificial intelligence should be not only useful but also safe for humans. This code confirms that the Ukrainian IT sector is ready to innovate responsibly and transparently. Top Ukrainian companies have signed the Voluntary Code of Conduct for the Ethical Use of Artificial Intelligence and have confirmed that they will develop innovative products that respect human rights,” the statement said.
It is noted that now Ukrainians will be able to safely use cool services with artificial intelligence. And companies will strengthen their market position and attract investments for the development of their own products more easily.
Ukrainian companies have formed a number of important principles for the responsible use of artificial intelligence, namely
- warn users about the use of AI in services and algorithms of its actions
- train AI systems on different types of data to avoid bias and discrimination
- to label content generated by AI
- create mechanisms for receiving feedback on the system from users.
