Ukrainian para-fencers won eight medals at the World Cup

The Ukrainian para-fencing team won eight medals at the Zsolt Kaposvari Memorial World Cup stage, held in Budapest.
The team’s tally includes two gold, two silver, and four bronze medals, allowing Ukraine to take third place in the team standings among national teams from over 20 countries.
This was reported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
Two gold medals for Ukraine
Ukrainian athletes won gold medals in both individual and team competitions.
The winners were:
- Andriy Demchuk — sabre, Category A;
- the team consisting of Oleg Naumenko, Oleksiy Zakusilov, Eduard Kudenko, and Artem Manko — épée, team competition.
Silver in individual and team events
Ukrainians won two more medals in the tournament finals.
The silver medalists were:
- Nadiya Dyolog — sabre, Category B;
- the team consisting of Andriy Demchuk, Volodymyr Lavrinenko, Dmytro Seryozhenko, and Artem Manko — sabre, team competition.
Four bronze medals
The bronze medals of the tournament were won by:
- Oleg Naumenko — foil, category B;
- Natalia Morkvich — sabre and foil, Category A;
- Dmytro Seryozhenko — sabre, category B.
Ukraine Among the Top Three
According to the results of the Zsolt Kaposvari Memorial tournament, the Ukrainian team took third place in the overall medal count.
Athletes from over 20 countries participated in the competition, making the Ukrainian team’s result one of the best at the tournament.
