Ukrainian sabre fencers win silver at the European Championships

At the European Fencing Championships in Bezel, Switzerland, Ukrainian saber fencers became vice-champions. Our team won silver, taking second place in the list of tournament winners. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Sports.

On 18 June, the European Fencing Championships took place in Basel, Switzerland, where Ukrainian Olena Kravitska played against Maya Guchmazova, a Russian with a Georgian passport. Having won, our sabre fencer left the venue without shaking hands with her opponent.
