Ukrainian frozen vegetables conquer Europe: who buys the most

In January-July 2025, Ukraine exported 6.2 thousand tons of frozen vegetables worth $6.1 million. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to EastFruit.
The largest buyers of Ukrainian frozen vegetables in the first half of 2025:
- Germany – 30.5% of total exports;
- Poland – 24.1%;
- Italy – 10.6%.
Import of frozen vegetables to Ukraine
According to AgroTimes, citing the State Customs Service of Ukraine, the volume of imports of frozen vegetables in January-July 2025 amounted to 7.6 thousand tons for $10.1 million.
The main suppliers:
- Poland – 73.4%;
- Belgium – 14.1%;
- Spain – 3.5%.
Ukraine’s leadership in the export of frozen raspberries
As reported by EastFruit, in 2024, Ukraine became the world leader in terms of net exports of frozen raspberries for the first time, ahead of Poland and Serbia.
Total exports of frozen raspberries in 2024: 65 thousand tons, which is 34% more than in the previous year.
Over the past three seasons, exports have doubled, while Serbia has maintained stable performance and Poland has reduced exports by 24%.
