The Ukrainian brand Gunia Project has opened a second showroom in Kyiv, which is their third offline space in Ukraine. The store is located on Zolotovoritska Street, near the Golden Gate building, where Gunia Project held a show during Ukrainian Fashion Week in September 2024.

This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to DTF.

About the idea of the space

In a commentary to DTF Magazine, the brand’s co-founder Maria Gavryliuk explained that the decision to open the new space was made due to the “active development of the brand”.

“We have a wider category of jewelry, we started working with clothing, added new materials and directions,” she says, “So there was a need for a space where we could exhibit all categories and show the brand in full.

Forbes notes that the investment in the project exceeded five million hryvnias, making it the most expensive renovation of the Gunia Project.

In a comment to DTF Magazine, Maria explained: “We wanted to create a sustainable space that would last a long time and allow our products to look their best. We are not postponing our investments in Ukraine for later – we believe it is important to continue building our business here and show the strength of Ukrainian brands, designers and craftsmen right now.”

Meanwhile, the Kyiv space at 4/6 Antonovycha Street and the Lviv one continue to operate.

About the location

The new store is located in a historic building at 2A Zolotovoritska Street. Previously, the Consulate of Panama in Ukraine was located here.

The brand worked on the new project together with architect Anastasia Tempinska. The main idea of the design project was to preserve the “authentic character of the historic building,” as well as the wooden panels and ceiling, which were integrated into the new interior.

“We wanted them to sound in a new way in the modern design, emphasizing the uniqueness of the space and harmonizing with our products,” adds Maria.

The brand plans to further develop the Gunia Project community. In particular, it plans to organize private presentations, educational events, and meetings in the space that will “unite people around the brand.” Currently, Gunia Project does not announce specific events, but you can follow the updates on Instagram.

The store is open from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 20:00, and on Sundays from 11:00 to 20:00.
