Ukrainian startup OSIRIS AI, which develops the OSIRIS DroneOS operating system for drones, has received investment from a foreign investor. The parties did not disclose the amount of the deal, reports "Komersant Ukrainian".
OSIRIS DroneOS is a modular operating system for UAVs designed to securely integrate various hardware platforms and work with AI modules and cloud computing.
The system is built on Embedded Linux, supports a wide range of hardware solutions (STM32, NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi CM4, Pixhawk, CubePilot, etc.) and has a Docker/OCI container architecture for AI applications. Key features include 256-bit communication encryption, its own App Store, cloud-based mission analytics, and compatibility with PX4 and MAVLink.
OsirisAI operates at the intersection of robotics, artificial intelligence, and defense systems, creating technologies that allow autonomous systems to operate in complex environments without direct human intervention.
“We are building a unified ecosystem for UAVs and C-UAVs that unites AI solution developers, microelectronics manufacturers, and users into a global network of cooperation, just as Android once united the mobile world,” said Roman Onishchenko, CEO of Ukraine OSIRIS AI.
