Ukrainians are traveling more actively: the number of departures and entries across the border has equaled

Between October 1 and November 1, more than 1.2 million departures and entries to Ukraine were recorded. This data was provided by the Administration of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine in response to a request from "Komersant Ukrainian"
“From 01.10.2024 to 01.11.2024, the Administration of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine recorded 1.248 million facts of crossing the state border by Ukrainian citizens leaving Ukraine and 1.240 million entering Ukraine,” said Andriy Viktyuk, Director of the Department of Work Organization, Planning and Control.
Such dynamics of border crossings by Ukrainians in October 2024 indicates an almost even balance between those leaving the country and those returning. This trend may be an indicator of the stability of migration flows in the face of the ongoing war and economic challenges facing Ukraine.
The reasons for active border crossings may include work trips and family reunification, as well as tourism or education.
At the same time, the continued high level of returns to the country underscores the growing confidence in domestic conditions and prospects.
It should be added that according to the Opendatabot platform, which analyzes data from the State Border Guard Service (SBGS), Ukrainians have started to travel abroad 10% less often.
