Ukrainians are buying hybrid cars more often: the most popular models

In February, more than 1.5 thousand hybrid passenger cars (HEV and PHEV) were added to the Ukrainian car fleet, which is 54% more than last year. This is reported by the Ukravtoprom association, Kommersant Ukrainian reports 
It is noted that the share of new cars in this number was 51%.
The most popular hybrids in February
In the segment of new passenger cars, Toyota Rav-4 (118 units) became the leader of the hybrid market. It is followed by Toyota Camry (85) and Nissan Qashqai (56).
At the same time, the Ford Fusion US (65 units) holds the lead in registrations of imported used cars with hybrid powertrains. Toyota Prius is in second place (52 ) and Toyota Rav-4 is in third place ( 42).
It should be noted that since the beginning of the year, more than 10 thousand new passenger cars have joined the domestic car fleet, which is 1.5 times more than in the same period in 2023.
In January 2024, about 4.4 thousand new passenger cars were registered in Ukraine, 47% more than in January 2023.
In 2023, Ukrainians purchased almost 61,000 new passenger cars for more than UAH 105.5 billion.
