Ukrainians are importing fewer used cars: which models are the most popular?

In February, 14,800 used passenger cars imported from abroad were added to the Ukrainian vehicle fleet.
This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference toUkravtoprom.
Compared to the same period last year, demand for imported second-hand cars decreased by 13%.
Gasoline-powered cars accounted for the largest share of imported cars in February — 61%. Last year, their share was 46%.
Other types of engines were distributed as follows:
- diesel — 22% (23% in February 2025);
- hybrids — 8% (5% last year);
- electric cars — 6% (22% last year);
- cars with gas cylinder equipment — 3% (4% in February 2025).
The average age of used cars that received Ukrainian license plates in February was 10 years, as it was last year.
The Volkswagen Golf remains the most popular model among imported cars.
The top 10 most popular models in February included:
- Volkswagen Golf — 700 cars;
- Audi Q5 — 642 cars;
- Volkswagen Tiguan — 590 cars;
- Skoda Octavia — 519 cars;
- Nissan Rogue — 508 cars;
- Renault Megane — 479 cars;
- Volkswagen Passat — 352 cars;
- Ford Escape — 326 cars;
- Audi A4 — 304 cars;
- Nissan Qashqai — 301 cars.
