Ukrainians spend the most on subway and rail travel: monobank data

According to the results of monobank customers’ transactions in the Travel category, the Kyiv Metro became the leader in spending – over UAH 153.6 million. This is the highest figure among all transportation services in the country, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports with reference to monobank’s Dashboard.
The second place was taken by the Kyiv Digital service with transportation and parking fees of UAH 26.5 million, and the third position was taken by Ukrzaliznytsia with UAH 16.3 million.
The top five also included EasyPay with UAH 6.8 million (ticket and fare payments) and iPay.ua with UAH 4.96 million.

Among the regional leaders are Lvivavtodor (UAH 4.18 million) and City Card (UAH 3.97 million). The top ten also includes Kharkiv Metro (UAH 3.17 million), Portmone (UAH 2.22 million), and Zhytomyr Transport (UAH 1.4 million).

Thus, the main expenditures of Ukrainians in transportation are on public transport in large cities and railways. In addition, this data shows a steady increase in demand for non-cash payments in the transport infrastructure.
