Ukrainians warned of an abnormal heat wave that will last for several weeks

Hot weather will continue in Ukraine for the next two weeks. In some places, thermometers will show more than 40 degrees in the shade. This was reported by weather forecaster Natalia Didenko, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“The heat in Ukraine will last for a long time. The heat wave will cover almost all of our territory. The maximum air temperature will reach 30 to 39 degrees, sometimes up to 40 and above. It is not yet clear when there will be a noticeable easing, beyond the probable forecast for this week and next week,”
– didenko wrote.
According to her, the most difficult situation will be in the south, east and most central regions of Ukraine – the heat is very intense and the fire danger is very high.
“There are, of course, details and some differences, such as slightly lower temperatures in the western regions. However, this will not have a major impact on the overall picture – extreme heat is expected everywhere. It is imperative to have a supply of water, at least,”
– the forecaster summed up.
The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Centre reported that hot weather is expected in the southern part, eastern, Dnipro, Kirovohrad and Poltava regions over the next three days. At night, the temperature will rise to 20-25°, while during the day it will be very hot – 35-38°.
on10-11 July, the Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions will experience extreme heat in some places – 40°. In the rest of the country, the temperature will be 15-22° at night, 26-33° during the day on 9 July, 30-34° on Wednesday and Thursday, and 35-37° in some places in Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Poltava and Chernivtsi regions.
Mostly without precipitation, only on 9 July in the western and eastern, in the afternoon and in Zhytomyr, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhya, Kherson regions and in the Crimea in some places there may be a slight short-term rain and thunderstorm. The wind will be mostly northeast, 5-10 m/second.
on12 July, the temperature in the southern, Dnipropetrovska, Kirovohradska, Vinnytsia and Cherkaska oblasts will be 20-26° at night, and 35-39° during the day, with extreme heat in Mykolaiv and Kherson oblasts, in some places, 40°. In the rest of the country, at night 17-23°, during the day 30-34°, in Kyiv, Poltava, Donetsk, Luhansk, Zakarpattia, Chernivtsi regions in some places up to 35-36°.
