An anticyclone is set to move over Ukraine: weather forecast for March 21

In the coming days—from March 21 to 23—weather conditions in Ukraine will be influenced by an area of high atmospheric pressure. Overall, dry and relatively warm weather is expected, although light precipitation is possible in some regions. This was reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
What will the weather be like on March 21?
On Saturday, March 21, variable cloudiness with no significant precipitation is forecast for most regions.
At the same time:
- light rain is possible at night in the western regions
- in the southern regions, precipitation is possible during the day
- wet snow is expected in the Carpathians
Air temperature
Overnight temperatures will range from:
- 2 to –3 degrees
- in the southern regions — from 1 to 6 degrees
During the day, temperatures will rise to 8–13 degrees Celsius.
In the mountainous regions of the Carpathians, temperatures will range from –3 to 2 degrees throughout the day.
Will there be frosts?
Forecasters warn that due to the influx of cool air, light nighttime frosts are possible, especially under clear skies.
At the same time, sunny weather during the day will contribute to a gradual rise in temperature.
Wind and weather conditions
A northeasterly wind with speeds of 7–12 m/s is expected.
Meteorologists note that temperature fluctuations between night and day are due to:
- the influence of an anticyclone
- low cloud cover
- springtime solar activity

Overall, weather conditions will remain stable:
- no significant precipitation is expected
- temperatures will gradually rise
- spring weather will intensify.
