Ukraine will be covered by an anticyclone: weather forecast for August 8

Today, August 8, an anticyclone will dominate Ukraine. Precipitation is not expected in most regions, and it will be sunny. This was reported by national weather forecaster Natalia Didenko on her Telegram channel, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
According to her, tomorrow, the anticyclone will cause dry, sunny weather everywhere in Ukraine and a calm “lazy day for meteorologists.”
Throughout the day, in most regions of Ukraine, the temperature will fluctuate between 24…29°C, in the South and Southeast it will warm up to 29…33°C.

Kyiv will be without precipitation on August 8. The air temperature will be 25°C.
Didenko added that the nights will be quite cold in some places. But during the day, comfortable warmth is predicted.
According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, weather conditions in Ukraine will be determined by an anticyclone that will ensure stable and dry weather throughout the country.
Due to the influence of the anticyclone, no rain is expected in Ukraine. The sky will be partly cloudy, meaning that the sun will periodically appear from behind the clouds, which will create comfortable conditions for being outside.
The wind is forecast to be from the northeast, and in the western regions – from the southeast, at a speed of 5-10 m/s. The gusts will not be strong, but they can be noticeable in open areas.
Air temperature
- At night in most regions it will be cool – temperatures will range from 9 to 14°C.
- During the day, the air will warm up to a comfortable 22… 27°C.
- In the southern and southeastern regions, the heat that has been persistent earlier will ease a bit. The temperature at night will be 16… 21°C, and during the day – 26… 31°C.

on August 08, the southern part of Ukraine, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, and Dnipropetrovs’k regions, and on August 09, Lviv, Volyn, and Chernivtsi regions will be under an extreme level of fire danger.
