Ukraine will be covered by a cold atmospheric front: weather forecast for August 7

Today, August 7, fresh weather will prevail in Kyiv and most regions of Ukraine. A significant drop in temperature is expected in the West. This was reported by national weather forecaster Natalia Didenko on her Telegram channel, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
According to her, a cold atmospheric front will cross Ukraine today. Therefore, residents of the West, North, and Center should expect thunderstorms. Heavy rains, squalls, and hail are also possible.
Didenko predicted that on August 7, Ukraine will already be in the rear of this atmospheric front, so there will be no precipitation almost everywhere, but the air temperature will drop by several degrees:
- in the West – 20… 24°C;
- in the North – 22… 26°C;
- in the Center – 24… 29°C;
- in the East – 26… 32°C;
- in the South – 30… 33°C.
On August 7, the weather in Kyiv will be dry and sunny. The air temperature will be comfortable and will fluctuate around 24°C.
According to the Ukrainian Weather Center, on August 7, a cold atmospheric front will continue to affect Ukraine, bringing rains, thunderstorms and significant temperature differences in different regions of the country.
Precipitation
At night, short-term rains with thunderstorms are expected in most northern and central regions. During the day, the precipitation zone will shift to the east and southeast, where thunderstorms are possible in some places. The rest of the country will be without significant precipitation, with mostly dry weather.
Northwest winds of 5-10 m/s are expected, which will give a feeling of freshness, especially in the western and northern regions.
Air temperature
Western Ukraine: The night temperature will be 7…12°, during the day the air will warm up to 20…25°.
South and southeast: The real summer heat will remain here – 18…23° at night, 28…33° during the day.
Central, northern and eastern regions: The temperature at night will fluctuate between 13…18°, during the day – 22…27°.
