Ukraine will be covered by warm weather from the Atlantic: weather forecast for February 12

Warm air from the Atlantic is moving into Ukraine, gradually replacing the February frosts. On February 12, most regions will experience a mild temperature regime, and daytime temperatures in a number of regions will approach or exceed zero. This was reported by weather forecaster Natalka Didenko, who noted that despite the warming, winter is not yet completely over, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
What will the weather be like on February 12?
The air temperature at night will be 2-3 degrees, in the eastern part -5-12 degrees.
Tomorrow afternoon, thermometers will hover around 1-4 degrees, in the south and west of Ukraine 4-8 degrees, and in Crimea up to 10 degrees.
In Kyiv, Thursday will be windy and wet, with temperatures around zero at night and 1-3 degrees during the day.
“Warming in mostly cloudy weather will lead to the gradual melting of snow cover, the formation of slush, and the falling of icicles. Therefore, it is important to not only watch your step, but also to stay away from buildings,” noted Natalka Didenko.
Warming, but not spring
Forecasters emphasize that this is only a short-term rise in temperature. Weather fluctuations are possible in the coming days, and the situation may worsen over the weekend due to the activation of southern cyclones.
Despite this, the trend towards a gradual easing of frosts continues. According to preliminary estimates by meteorologists, no severe prolonged cold spells are forecast until the end of winter.
Residents are advised to be careful due to icy roads and slush, as well as to follow the latest forecasts, as the atmosphere remains dynamic during this period.
