Ukraine will be hit by cyclone Lukas: weather forecast for August 23

On Saturday, August 23, weather conditions are expected to change in Ukraine due to the movement of the Mediterranean cyclone Lukas, which is gradually shifting eastward along with the fronts. This is stated in the forecast of weather forecaster Natalia Didenko, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
According to Didenko, precipitation will stop in the west and north of the country, and atmospheric pressure will increase. At the same time, rains with thunderstorms are possible in the central, eastern and southern regions. The forecaster notes that weather changes can cause headaches and blood pressure spikes.
According to the expert, on August 23, the air temperature in Ukraine will be moderate – 18…24 degrees during the day, and only 16…19 degrees in some places. In the eastern regions it will be warmer – up to 25… 30.
In Kyiv, no significant precipitation is expected, and the daytime temperature will be around 20…22 degrees. But on August 24, Independence Day, forecasters predict light rain, gusty winds and air temperatures of 18…20 degrees.
