According to Natalka Didenko, the precipitation will not be prolonged, but dry weather is not expected in most regions. This means that the day will be relatively comfortable in terms of temperature, but with humid air and periodic rain.
It will be coolest in western Ukraine, where daytime temperatures will remain between 8 and 11 degrees in some places. In other regions, the air will warm up more—to 12–19 degrees, which is quite mild for early April. P

Rainy weather is also expected in Kyiv on Friday, April 3. According to Natalka Didenko’s forecast, it will rain at times in the capital, and daytime temperatures will range from 14 to 16 degrees. In other words, the weather will remain fairly warm, but it’s best not to go out without an umbrella.
When will the cold snap arrive?
Despite the warm start to April, forecasters are already warning of a change in the weather. According to Natalka Didenko, a new cold air mass will move into Ukraine on April 7–8, causing temperatures to drop significantly.
Daytime highs are expected to be only 4–9 degrees, and at night, some areas may even see slightly below-freezing temperatures.
What to expect next
So, on April 3, Ukrainians should prepare for typical spring weather: warm but unstable. Rain will fall across most of the country, though in some places it will be brief.
After that, according to preliminary forecasts, the weather may still be pleasant over the weekend, particularly on Palm Sunday, but a noticeable cold snap will arrive in the country early next week.
