Today, June 4, Ukraine is covered by a cold atmospheric front. Weather changes and a slight cooling are expected. This was reported by weather forecaster Natalia Didenko, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
According to Didenko, rains with thunderstorms are still possible at night, and during the day, short-term showers are likely only in the Carpathians, Transcarpathia, Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
In the rest of Ukraine, in most regions, dry weather will prevail on June 4. The temperature will range from 23 to 27 degrees throughout the day, and from 27 to 31 degrees in the south and east.
On June 4, dry and sunny weather is expected in Kyiv, as the capital will be in the rear of the atmospheric front. The daytime temperature is expected to be 23 to 24 degrees.
“But later in Ukraine, almost everywhere there will be a heat wave, 24-29 degrees are expected, in the south and east, sometimes in the central part 27-32 degrees,” Didenko wrote.
According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, rains with thunderstorms and sometimes hail with squalls of 15-20 m/s are expected throughout the day. The highest probability of such weather events is expected on the Left Bank, as well as in Kyiv and Cherkasy regions and in Crimea.
In the rest of the country, no significant precipitation is expected – partly cloudy weather with short-term clearings will prevail.
Forecasters warn that the atmospheric front will bring a drop in temperature, especially in the western and northern regions. At night, the temperature will drop to 11-16°, while during the day it will remain moderately warm at 21-26°.
In the rest of the country, temperatures will remain higher: 14-19° at night and 24-29° during the day. In the southern regions, the air will warm up to 31°.
