President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine has been invited to the NATO summit in The Hague, which will take place on June 24-25. He said this during a meeting with journalists, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

“We had a meeting with the NATO Secretary General. We were invited to the NATO summit. I think this is important,” Zelensky said.

Zelenskiy noted that Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga will talk with his counterparts about infrastructure and what the results of this summit might be.

The President’s Office reports that Zelenskyy informed Rutte about today’s meeting in Istanbul, which resulted in important agreements on the exchange of prisoners and the return of the dead. However, Russia did not support either an unconditional ceasefire or negotiations between Ukraine and Russia at the highest level.

“Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Mark Rutte paid special attention to the next diplomatic steps and increasing pressure on Russia. The President and the NATO Secretary General also discussed Ukraine’s long-range capabilities,” the statement said.

The meeting was focused on the NATO summit in The Hague. The Head of State emphasized that it was important for Ukraine to be adequately represented at the summit. First of all, it is a signal to Russia that the Alliance remains committed to its key principles.
