Ukraine is an importer of table grapes due to the lack of refrigeration equipment. Volodymyr Pechko, chairman of the association “Ukrsadvynprom”, told about it in an interview with YouTube channel "Komersant Ukrainian".
“Our businessmen have started to be interested in refrigerators for storing table grapes. There are several projects today, which will be realized soon. I think we will solve the issue with table grapes. I think that at least for six months we will provide Ukrainians with their own grapes,” he said,

The availability of special refrigeration equipment will give Ukraine a chance to export table grapes, Pecko continued.

“We try to establish exports every year. I come to Dubai in February, Moldovans are standing with grapes. I say: where do you get your grapes from, how do you supply them to Dubai? The answer: we store them, we peel them. So I have a question: Moldovans can extend the shelf life of grapes, and why can’t we?” he emphasized
