“Ukrenergo announced how outage schedules will work on 5 June

On Wednesday, 5 June, a deficit in Ukraine’s power system is forecast throughout the day. This was reported by Ukrenergo, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
Limits on electricity consumption will be in effect for each region from 00:00 to 24:00.
“To comply with the limits, regional power distribution companies will apply hourly blackout schedules for industrial and household consumers,” the statement said,

In case of exceeding the limits, emergency outages may be applied for all categories of consumers, Ukrenergo added.
As a reminder, according to Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, Chairman of the Board of NPC Ukrenergo, this week the situation in the Ukrainian power system will be more difficult than in the last days of May. This situation is caused by three factors. The first factor is the scheduled outage of two nuclear power units. The second is the consequences of Russian shelling of energy facilities on 31 May and 1 June. The third, according to Kudrytskyi, is the projected increase in consumption due to the heat wave.
He added that the biggest power shortages will be in the morning and evening of every day for the next week.
What is the situation in the power system
Following the attacks by the Russian Armed Forces on 4 June, Ukraine introduced power cuts. In Donetsk Oblast, 5.1 thousand customers were cut off from electricity supply due to hostile shelling. In Kyiv region, 578 customers in one of the settlements remain without power due to an emergency outage.
In Lviv Oblast, 48 settlements remain without power due to a thunderstorm. 37,300 customers in Kharkiv Oblast remain without power due to hostilities.
A difficult situation with electricity occurred in Kyiv on Tuesday, 4 June. Ukrenergo announced emergency blackouts for the capital. According to YASNO CEO Serhiy Kovalenko, the reason for these blackouts was that the capital exceeded the electricity consumption limits. That is why the city’s blackout schedules are currently not working.
