Ukrenergo introduces round-the-clock power outage schedules across Ukraine on February 4: details
4 February 05:53
On Wednesday, February 4, hourly power outages will be in effect throughout Ukraine. This was reported by NEC Ukrenergo on its Telegram channel, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
In addition, power restriction schedules will be applied to industrial facilities due to a shortage in the power system.
Reasons and features of the restrictions
According to the company, the main factor behind the introduction of stabilization measures was the impact of recent Russian missile and drone strikes on critical energy infrastructure facilities.
What consumers need to know:
- Geography: the restrictions apply to absolutely all regions of Ukraine.
- Duration: the schedules will be in effect for 24 hours — from 00:00 to 24:00.
- Industry: additional power restriction schedules have been introduced for businesses.
Where to check the schedules
Ukrenergo emphasizes that the situation in the power system remains dynamic and may change depending on consumption levels and the state of the networks. The exact time and scope of outages at specific addresses should be clarified on the official resources of local power companies.
Energy companies also urge citizens to consume electricity sparingly during periods when it is available according to the schedule in order to reduce the load on the system and speed up restoration work.
What they advise consumers
Energy companies urge citizens to:
- to use powerful electrical appliances at night, if possible;
- avoid turning on energy-intensive appliances at the same time;
- follow only official sources of information to avoid misinformation.

Ukrenergo urges Ukrainians to follow updates on the official websites of their regional power companies. They publish current schedules and changes in power outages.
