Ukrposhta is introducing free delivery of personal belongings and documents to the families of killed and missing soldiers. This was announced by the company’s CEO Ihor Smelyansky on Telegram, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
Ukrposhta has signed a memorandum with the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to create a unified system for the transfer of personal belongings and documents to the families of the military.
Smelyansky emphasized:
“Every day we must thank, remember and honor those who give us the opportunity to live, create, love… But I believe that words are not enough. Memory is an action. And the most important action today is to support the families of our dead and missing. It is when it is most difficult for them. This is the least we can do to thank them.”
According to him, sending things helps to preserve the warmth, history and presence of those who will forever remain in the memory of the families.

How the delivery will work
- Delivery will be free of charge even to the most remote parts of Ukraine.
- This includes the frontline and de-occupied territories.
- The system will ensure fast and safe delivery of items and documents to families.
The significance of the initiative
This initiative of Ukrposhta is an important step in supporting military families in difficult times.
Thanks to a unified delivery system, items and documents can be transferred efficiently and safely, preserving the memory of fallen and missing heroes.
