“Ukrposhta has increased tariffs for sending parcels: new amounts

Starting from 1 July, Ukrposhta has increased the cost of shipments under the Ukrposhta.Standard tariff by an average of UAH 5-9. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the press service of the national postal operator.
In general, the Standard tariff has risen by UAH 5-9, while the Express tariff has increased by up to UAH 10 depending on the weight. For example, delivery of a parcel weighing between 5 and 10 kg will now cost UAH 85, compared to the previous UAH 75 before the tariff revision.
At the same time, Ukrposhta is simplifying the calculation of tariffs for parcels weighing up to 2 kg. Now their cost will be uniform across the country.
According to the Standard tariff, for shipments up to 2 kg in the region it will be UAH 40, and UAH 45 in Ukraine. And for the Express tariff, it will be UAH 45 and UAH 60, respectively.
Tariffs for sending written correspondence, Ukrposhta.Document services and international shipments will not change.
Ukrposhta says it is raising tariffs out of necessity. The key reasons are rising prices for electricity, fuel and utilities, inflation, as well as significant damage to infrastructure caused by Russian shelling and the need to repair it.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war and the occupation, Ukrposhta has lost assets and suffered losses totalling about UAH 2.5 billion. More than 2,000 of the company’s branches and other real estate have been destroyed, damaged by constant shelling or lost due to the occupation.
