A test drive of exoskeletons has begun at one of Ukrposhta’s terminals.
This was announced by the company’s CEO, Igor Smelyansky, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
“Testing of exoskeletons has begun at our Kyiv-Livyi terminal (the same giant 14,000-square-meter facility that opened in 2024). Currently, we are testing the X PRO and X Carbon models from Hypershell (from Robotics Distribution),” he wrote on Telegram.
According to him, the main advantage of exoskeletons is that they are lightweight (only 2 kg), but at the same time they take on as much as 30% of the load.
“For now, we will be analyzing the test results and collecting feedback from the team over the next few months. If this upgrade helps our specialists feel less tired and better, we will scale this experience to other sorting centers in the country in the future,” Smilyansky said.
As a reminder, Nova Poshta launched a pilot project involving the use of Hypershell exoskeletons by employees in operational processes at terminals and depots.
